Stop with the boob armors

http://www.artofmtg.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/Attended-Knight-Art.jpg

this art is so good but honestly her armour annoys me
I mean why are there breasts on my armours
armours don’t have breast slots
they are supposed to uniformize and protect the chest
so why are there two metal thingys redirecting the blade to the center of the chest
armour is flaaaaaaaaaat

Ah yes

Hello TB Skyen

How are you

In short

Boob plates exist to show femininity on an armored character

This is usually only really noticeable when it’s done horribly wrong

Which is the majority of the time it seems

But when used with care they can help to give fictional characters, well, character, that the armor would otherwise erase

This can be achvied by other means such as armor adourns
imo it’s either lack of knowledge or sexualization

That being said I can’t think of any examples that work off the top of my head sooooo

Yeah I pretty much agree that it’s lazy

I’m just telling you why it’s used

Literally have spent the last like two weeks ranting about this on and off in the MAL Discord
