The Forum Resistance [Canned/Spies Win]

NAI: Not Allignment Indicative.

It’s usually safe to deny the first mission as it gets more info out there and outs the spies more often.

Does it? How?

Because if someone is recklessly approving every mission it shows they know that there is someone they know they want on the mission is on the mission. In other words, they are a spy.

It can lead to spytells and generally helps resistance.

But surely it doesn’t matter who goes on the first mission?

Actually, it does.

The less spies on the mission the less opportunities for them to get towncred on it. Plus, they might actually fail it. You never know.

But how would any one know whether line up A is better than line up B?

So by Ici’s logic, anybody who rejected the first mission has a strong Resistance read on them.

Ici seems to know this game well. Maybe he is building up a lot of Resist cred with this little lecture because he is a Spy?

Did the math. There is about a 20% chance of a Spy being on a team of 3 if the Team Builder is Resistance and chose randomly.

There is an additional 25% chance (3/12) of a Spy being nominated as a leader, in which they would surely automatically choose a Spy for the mission.

This means there is only a 45% chance of a Spy being in that line-up right now. Should one of them be a Spy, this means Ici has a +5% chance of being a Spy as well.

my logic is simple:
im resistance, and i dont know for sure if anyone in particular on that mission is a spy or not, but i do know that I am resistance, so the mission would be better off with me on it, from my perspective
the same logic works with spies, mind you, so im not saying that to build towncred, im just stopping it from me seeming as scum

To me, I generally don’t care who is on the first mission

Note: Any likes from me mean that I like your logic and reasoning. It does not mean you are right

How long until Jammy auto has Her team rejected for not choosing one?

Maybe if people would talk I’d have a better idea of who to choose

I’m putting myself on the team and not Ici but I need more people to freaking post

For one, I am supporting the first mission so I can try to scumread from selected choices and being success doesn’t automatically guarantee these are 100% Resistance. Yeah I do suspect Icibalus, Ruby (JammySplodge) and Moleland. Having JammySplodge on lead randomly and elected herself in the process then I would reject this time for sake having different leader.

Secondly, I trust Sketch with his logic.

Jammy, I suggested 4 people because, if you’re not Spy. Sending those on a mission would mean that assuming we had at least 2 if not all 3 members mission 1 being resistance members. Then this round would likely hit 2+ spies.

So it might make it more difficult for them. As they might both fail giving away they’re there or both pass, giving us another victory

do we know how many spies there are?

I’d prefer new people only

There are 4 spies.

Hence why I chose 4 people not on the previous mission
