No, I think SS goal is fine as is. It makes mercs less ‘confirmed friendlies’ as SS happy to die for the cause, meaning merc claims are less likely to be SSs
I hate all of these things
No one cares, krillon
Oh yup he was fine, but his change also makes sense. It proposes much more strategies than just one day without trial, it makes killers (even if they did not voted up Fool) think about if they should attack that following night or not, as it could potentially out them. It has so many interactions that I cannot even start listing or it will be way too long. I like when things like this affect the way people play the game, chaging it’s flow, even if it is for one night.
This Fool is way better. It doesn’t punish town too badly for lynching scum.
Sellsword’s theme is prevention, not gathering information.
That’s why they need changing though, it’s not uncommon for evils to be unlucky and kill the sellsword early on. At the very least they should have a one-time immmunity.
Alright, but it should last longer than one night.
I think I said Sellsword need a one time bullet proof
And Redirection is right in line with that.
I just saw a Sellsword get killed N1 by assa
How so? Redirection just changes who they target, it doesn’t prevent. And sellsword already has 2 night abilities, so unless this is a day ability it shouldn’t be changed
That’s exactly why they should have a one-time immunity
changing target is still very offensive
take Drunk’s Debauch for example
Yes, but it’s different from occupation
I suggested folding it with Intimidation
Occupation is different from prevention sooo
I was in a situation when it was assassin, MM and me (SS) versus GK and a SFd BD. I whisper to assassin (I thought they were MM) ‘I’m Sellsword. Are you MM?’ They were new and stupid and killed me.
Unseen lost.
But they’re more similar than redirection and occupation
So?
That’s nice, but you are, for some of these classes (Alchemist and Hunter), only describing one side of the coin - how it feels to use a class…
What do you say about playing against these classes?
Playing against Hunter is what makes this game skill based. Thing is people do not expect BD to lie, so when they do evils are suddenly lost. With time, they learn Hunter is there to get them. He is all about coordination with the group and a bit of luck, but hey, he is also playing the “luck and coordination” game, so wins the better.
I do not see a problem to play against Alch. Unless he just joins BD right away and out evils, then this is indeed lame.
