Don’t see the five as a bad thing per say, but more of a way to flesh out your character. Like when I was rolling for mine I was purposefully not dropping the lowest sometimes but the highest to have a way more diverse set of rolls. No character is ever perfect, they each have their own flaws that really can push them in a fun new way. If ur character is stupid, they could bring a lot of fun scenarios where they don’t understand things that could get the party into trouble. Have fun with it.
