Or maybe rework it to be similar to my Lich.
My NKs are typically a notch stronger than ToL’s NKs to combat the sheer amount of confirmation, but the principle here still stands.
The Lich has two holders in order to prevent random night kills from being too deadly, and are completely randomized in the start, albeit are static to prevent him from latching onto key players/classes and causing scenarios where BD needs to random lynch their own power roles to win. However, since the Lich remains technically alive and optimally they shouldn’t out themselves as a Lich, this essentially allows the living players to conduct associative reads on the Lich to find his/her phylactery holders.
The main issue regarding the Revenant is that you can’t read him in a social deduction game and since they’re automatically outed by the end of n1 then there’s no need to genuinely post content as you’ll be treated as scum either way. The Lich is better than the Revenant as you don’t out by default and they aren’t completely immune to reads in general.
