The Cult Leader and The Ritualist stood in the cold stone room located somewhere in the hidden tunnels of Castle Adiart. The Ritualist braced himself as he lay down on the stone slab in the centre of the room. The Cult Leader loomed over him, sharp dagger sheathed. The Cult Leader put his hands together in prayer, muttering whispers of worship to Mithras and Corax. As he finished, The Ritualist took a deep breath. He knew his time was up, and he was ready to give his life for Mithras. The Cult Leader drew his dagger and held it in both hands above his head. He brought the dagger down, piercing The Ritualist’s chest. The Ritualist screamed out in pain as his blood was spilt. As it began to pool on his chest, it gave off a bright red glow. The Cult Leader’s prayers had been answered. Somewhere else in the castle, The Knight gripped his throat in pain, then fell over dead as quickly as the pain came. The Cult Leader cackled as The Ritualist lay dead before him.
