So making a new gamemode, with new rules and a new tutorial will fix those balances eh?
I never said it would. I just said that updates come often, and people continue to claim
it appears to em the main problem stems from the new player older player divide, and this would fix that, as it could function as an advanced game mode as well
You mean like the ranked mode that is discussed regularly, likely planned already and wouldnt require any of this extra rulesets, tutorials, or any of that other stuff your idea would require?
NOT RANKED
not ranked, it wouldn’t keep track of scores or anything
why can’t people recognize the difference between ranked and advanced?
So…you want a -third- mode to divide up the players? Or do we have a ranked version of both, meaning 4 modes?
I never asked for ranked
In games there is usually a “Casual” Mode and a “Ranked” Mode. Anything above casual is some form of ranked as it is playing for stakes.
If you want a game mode with only players who have played for a long time you would be ostracizing newer players and denying them as part of the player pool. Ergo that idea would hurt the game whilst a ranked mode would not.
Therefore asking for advanced play is essentially the same as asking for ranked.
No, you didnt, but the game isnt just you now is it? And its well known that is requested regularly, and has been implied to be planned on several occasions when people asked.
it really isn’t. If I come in to a new game and it is a difficult one, I will not feel bad when I have to play an easier mode
We’ll call the game mode:
“200 IQ Mode”
Where people will have their Oxford Dictionaries at the ready with big words and 200 IQ plays!
I didn’t have a dictionary open. The only reason those words sounded big is because they are modified with endings. Removed them and they are normal
The long and short of it, Norm, is that there is never going to be a separate game mode just for your insane interpretation of the rules. It’s how it is, play the game in a way that conforms to it. You’re making an asteroid out of a molehill (it’s honestly way past a mountain at this point).
If you aren’t trolling then you seriously need to step back and reevaluate how you look at things.
If everyone is going to be so closed off to ideas without actually refuting them, could a moderator lock this thread? I see no point in it anymore as all the fighting has devolved into petty insults
There’s nothing to refute - you want a separate game mode for a minor rules disagreement and think that’s somehow a viable thing. It’s not. You can’t see the bigger picture beyond the tip of your nose.
I made several arguments in OP, no one tried answering them
I made a giant fucking post explaining why you’re the only person who feels the need to “claim on schedule” in a game that’s as non-linear as possible. I also explained why CL’s Sacrifice isn’t the same thing.
Many people have presented reasons as to why your idea would be problematic but you seem to have ignored them. I suggest re-reading the thread and then break down their counter-points if you want a serious discussion, instead of just constantly claiming no one has refuted your points.
I think this is a problem with the individual not the game. For example the enforcer is crazy powerful but once his frenzy is up you might as well bus him. This also goes for Duchess,Alcoholic,Sellsword,Sage, and Nightwatch. In my opinion you don’t want these classes around for that long. The reasoning they dont bring that much to the table once they use their abilities. In unseen having the MM alive wins you the game so if your being hung as assassin but the MM is alive then it is ok.I have never bussed in cult games bc I am usually found out or my cult member are found out leaving me no time to bus my fellow cult members.
Something that might help newer players is having a little in game tip for how to play each class.Like if observer sees someone visiting a player and they die. That person is probably the killer. The game would give you this tip.
No, people have given reasons for the report system being bad, but none said why MY REASONS WERE WRONG
