you could use crimtane bricks which iirc NPCs dont hate
i think it looks alright although the walls look worse than the block and this may be what you’re talking about isnt it
cause i meant just using the raw crimson blocks, then i remember the ore + crimson blocks make a brick
and then theres flesh blocks which probably look bad
Nah, I was talking about raw crimstone that you can make walls out of. There are 4 types or so.
Crimstone bricks look awful, crimtane bricks are extremely weird imo.
i mean i could see you actually incorporating flesh blocks into builds
im sure if you do it right it could work pretty well? but i think the blocks alone look pretty meh
personally i like granite and marble a lot, but granites a lot easier to farm
I literally demolished my marble biome with dynamite to get less than 3 stacks of marble blocks.
Totally worth it though.

yeah, the problem with marble is it only spawns in those caves
where granite can be obtained as a drop from the granite golems, which theres a statue for, so you can theoretically find a statue and just afk granite
Also I’m mildly irritated that dungeon bricks can’t really be crafted, because they have the best design.
I know that you can mine them even below the surface later on, but eh.
At least I lucked out and my world spawned the blue dungeon, which is the best one.
blue and pink dungeons are both nice, i lightly prefer pink because i prefer pink as a color but blue probably is easier to build with for most people 
most blocks are renewable but the ones that aren’t are usually the good looking ones
