Atm I think its spectre. The one u get from chloryphyte and ectoplasm armor. With this bee gun that’s about 90 magic damage. I would have better equipment if the group didnt give 90% of the magic drops from the pillar of magic to my bud instead of me. Like idk now I feel I need to farm them but like hes gonna wanna as well and its gonna be uneven no matter what

Mage at that point is most likely using the Razorblade Typhoon from Duke Fishron

Supposedly the server has like 13 or so summon items for him. But I’d have to fight him with someone else and that might mean i won’t get what i want. Idk kinda wish terraeia had per character instance loot
theres also other weapons i enjoy (although razorblade typhoon is prob your best overall bet)
magnet sphere, golden shower (if crimson, this is purely for debuffing), nimbus rod (i definitely overrate this), bubble gun (low range but i love this), rainbow gun (it shoots rainbows don’t @ me), and the razorpine
if you farm the nebula pillar, both of those magic weapons are fairly decent; i forgot which one i prefer tho
expert mode does for bosses
yeah its definitely not your solo magic weapon, but throwing them out every few seconds is very nice
the rainbow gun and nimbus rod serve similar purposes but are both much more fire and forget weapons
just farm gold
get that enchant you like

i usually go for menacing or lucky but warding is a thing too i guess
