The Throne... Of Lies... Returns. [Roleplay Thread]

“What the heck is this psycho?!” he says, getting up… Ready to stagger backwards if he felt anything approaching too quickly “Why are you staying in the dark? Come on out”

(I did, bucko, if you think I didn’t do it, I picked up le book)

“She stabbed me several times in the stomach, tearing me LIMB from LIMB.”
They cackle, crying violently.

The voice seems to come from two directions simultaneously.

A few seconds of silence surrounds the Captain. He would know if he was working for the Unseen, right? Surely, he’s still aligned with the rest of his crew.
“I guess ya right. I would know if I was working with a different group… I still care about my crew. I’m not like the cruel leaders in the pasts of history.”

She just looks at the situation, slowly backpedaling the stairs and hoping not to be noticed.

He nods, making the suggestion for time to heal flesh wounds in the first place, and goes on the way to their room.

As Marian carries the book in the box, she turns her head towards Nicholas.
“Why didn’t you leave as soon as you could? You could have died right then and there!”

“I am weak. I doubt we will be able to outrun, although I think the Paladin just didn’t want to say at my face that she just would not slay me now instead of really pursuiting. Ask where to hide.”

“I would rather we keep moving towards our destination. Perhaps we can speak to the book to gain advice. Maybe there’s an area nearby where I can gain more power to better defend myself.”
Marian slowly opens the box to get the book outside.

“Where hide.” He just says abruptly to the book. “Also tell her how to seal demons in books just in case.”

“I don’t know, if there’s some random abandoned hideout like the last one we’ve been to, then we can go there.”

“If no places to hide both, where to hide her.” He knew the book very probably wouldn’t take him as a priority over the girl.

“Oh, do they?”
The figure spins a dagger on their index finger, flipping it for good measure. It wasn’t obvious due to the wondrous technology called masks, but they weren’t into the conversation. Too pithy of crying. They never understood it.

“You see, I never understood that. Why people let themselves be strongarmed by a pile of shit I don’t realize. Really similar situation with most of the Blue Dragon, ya hear?”

“Most of the Blue Dragon? I mean… all I want to do is take down the King, I’ve never wanted them to get hurt in the process.”

‘RETURN TO ME.’ A whisper hammers in your mind.

‘YOU WILL NEVER ESCAPE WITH GIRL NOR IYVEL OTHERWISE’ You knew the being whispering to be Mithras. It feels wrong, but it is…warm.

“Faris of the Northern Docks Village… but its gone now…”

He puts his hands at the side of their head, as if to contain something.
“You forgot me, and want me again after I am freed. Why is that?” He starts to remember his moments at the war. To be sealed or damaged, no one would look for you, because you were weak enough to let it happen to yourself at the first place. You would be replaced out, and there was always a double waiting at your shadow.

Marian turns her head towards Nicholas as she hears his struggle.
“What’s going on, Nicholas? What’s wrong?!”
