The Throne... Of Lies... Returns. [Roleplay Thread]

“Jill? Oh, that one. They required quite a price this time to fork you over.” The voice was nasal yet deep. Smooth yet cracked. Unreal in every respect.

“Damn recruiters. Damn unseen.” They muttered.

“I know you have no way to empathize with it, but you surely could understand the raw meaning even if it seemed senseless. While it lasts, I want it to last.” He says at a low, even calm tone

Her eyes widen even more at the brutal honest in the tones of his voice.
“So you did lie?! But why?! If we completed the ritual, this spirit wouldn’t be in this book anymore!”
You can sense a little frustration in her.

“Recruiters? Unseen? Could you explain, please?”

Lily’s voice cracks in the middle. God knows how long she’s been knocked out for.

“I did not lie, if you have forgotten. I just discovered the spirit can’t be freed from the book and we are still moving to the abandoned site to find books on necromancy, as I have told two times. We could, alternatively, ask the book.”

She looks back at the book and gives a small frown.
“Oh… right. Damn, I’m an idiot sometimes… Magic Book thing, how long until we get to the hideout?”

Zynx makes another stop on her way home because she is rich. She stops at the music place. When she enters the place, there seem to be a lot of music boxes there

“There’s no need.”

Lily can start to sense more of what is happening.

She is being dragged through a forest floor. She can’t move her hands or her feet, as they are likely bound. Their is a blindfold over her eyes, and as such she can’t see.

The voice comes from another woman for sure. A bit gruff and with a tone of mystical intervention. They aren’t entirely conscious, their words dragging on.

She enters the music place, undoubtedly surprised at the sheer variety of musical instruments.

The storeowner looks equally kooky. His springy white hair and spectacles give off the impression of a mad scientist. He fell over off his ladder the moment you entered the shop, landing on his back.

“Could you at least tell me where you’re taking me …sir?”

"The magic book is not a maptracker… Probably’

There is a chuckle.

“Home.”

I am near omniscient.

“Oh my. Are you okay sir?”

Zynx runs to help the fallen man

“oh. Hello! Welcome to my musicworks!”

He’s still down on the ground, but he grabs onto a nearby shelf to help himself up.

“Powerful. Knows my name? You don’t need to type it out”

“See? If it’s relating to the Cult, it should know where the Cult used to be.”
She makes a smirk as she chuckles to herself.

Lily keeps asking questions, testing her boundaries.

“Your home? Who are you, then?”

“No. That of my family.”
