The Throne... Of Lies... Returns. [Roleplay Thread]

"They didn’t check it at the time, but the guy seemingly infiltrated a guard post earlier’

“This is the worst joke. The one that plays with my hopes.” He says, grimacing.

Richard frowns at that.

“I think we might need to pay this man a visit later. He could be a spy for the Green Kraken. He is in prison right now, I presume?”

Her eyes shift towards Scarface with deadpan eyes.
“I’m dead serious.”

“Should be. I told the guardsmen to keep you informed of his state.”

“And I’m dead inside.”

“I don’t believe it if you can’t prove it, even with your tone reading as not blatantly lying.”

Lillian arrives at the mouth of a forest. A whisper can be heard in her head, beckoning her to come forward.

“With the right materials, I can do it. I’ve been researching to find what I need to make a reanimation invention that can bring our crew back, even Black Stache himself.”

(the fuck is a gun. the fuck is a portal)

“I’m not going to hedge our bets on a con. It’s simple as that.”

Marian makes a loud chuckle that almost echoes through the room.
“Once you see Buk back, you’ll be seeing me in a different light!”

Lillian would go back, but she’s already spent too much effort in getting here and doesn’t know the next time she will be able to get back, with the patrol blocking her path. She got lucky with the illiterate guard, and she’s doubtful that it’ll happen twice. Probably after she renews her license. If she renews her license, that is. With half a sigh, she grabs her crossbow and ventures into the forest.

A face of whatthefuckiswiththisperson adorns ol Scarface.
“We are not hedging our bets on this. Being reasonable with plans that actually work will allow us to win this, not some stupid plan.”

Richard nods his thanks, deep in thought. Probably scheming up another long con, some way to fuck up the Green Kraken or add more power to his house.

She ignores him as she turns her back away from the table and heads towards the exit.
“Can’t hear you, stubbornness is silence to me.”

After walking for about ten minutes, Lillian trips over a root, tumbling down a hill and dropping some of her crossbow bolts along the way. She finally stops, hitting her head hard against another outstretched root.

Vilhelm could see why the man was so fiery about the land that hold their name. He would probably decapitate whoever stole his dukedom as well.
“We are approaching the Castle”
