I don’t think @ing the host is necessary for strife shots and even if it was, if I was the host and saw a player trying to strife themselves like that, I’d make it have a 100% chance of killing them just for the lols.
Pings to the host are required for all actions and requests involving the host, such as votes or strifes
Right now, the best way to determine my alignment is to execute Zone and assume that my alignment is different from his.
Here’s my reasoning. Say that I’m town, if we lynch Zone, you’re confirmed that I’m very likely telling the truth and have a powerful ally that you know is likely town where if you lynch me, you’ve just lynched an extremely powerful townie over someone who is insanely likely to be scum.
If I’m scum and you lynch Zone, then you’ve just lynched a townie that was acting ultra scummy and likely wouldn’t help the town while alive while if you lynch me, you’ll know to trust Zone a bit more which will lead to you following his suggestions over who to lynch, most likely resulting in a scum win.
In fact, I’m so certain that Zone is scum here that I’ll say this: If Zone is lynched and happens to be town, I’ll self resolve first thing tomorrow by liking a ppl post on Thread 1 and getting myself modkilled. No rescindos on that.

I understand if you don’t like me, but you don’t have to like me to understand the reasons why I think Leafia is full of ****.
Even after calming down and reviewing the gamestate, I just can’t bring myself to believe her.
She claims that she has four abilities, two of which were really resembling to ToL Chronomancer. When mathmods said she sounded like a Chronomancer, she responded with a confirmation.
KyoDaz said that Chronomancer has multiple niche abilities that are powerful when combined, but despite all that, I chose to keep denying Leafia’s claim.
I believe that -if you have read my posts- you would understand why. It ain’t because I’m being a dick. Even without my goddamn awful prejudice against her, I cannot believe her claim.
It was too much, and too perfectly timed.
Let me explain the backstory a little bit…
KyoDaz and I argued a lot about how to handle Leafia’s situation, and this was our conclusion:
“[…] if she does claim to have an ability to save people then I’m back to my original argument.”
His original argument was:
So… we had a long debate about whether to exe her Today or not, and whether the claimvig will kill her or not.
Centuries and I said they won’t kill her, regardless of Leafia’s alignment.
KyoDaz said that they will kill her, and asks Leafia to not delay her own death. (Though the latter never responded to this because Kyo went AFK and didn’t ask her to do so personally.)
If you don’t see where I am getting at: Kyo and I argued a lot, and Kyo will basically refuse for us to exe Leafia if she claims [X], and Leafia’s third ability claim just happens to be [X], with [X] being “a protective-ish role”.
This felt too perfectly timed for me.
Another reason why I couldn’t bring myself to believe her claim systematically, is because she claims to have four abilities.
Be it a blessing in disguise or not, Thread 2 already has to deaths: Modeshifter and oB_L1ght.
Both players -town and scum- only have two abilities, and the same happen to apply to me as well.
This was the second reason I can’t believe Leafia’s claim: It had too many abilities.
I know Kyo said that Chronomancer has many niche abilities, but whenever I see what abilities I was given… I can’t feel as if hers was unfairly stronger than mine. If she truly is a town with four abilities, then I have nothing but envy towards her.
Well then, I think I have rambled enough.
The main goal of this post is not to make Leafia scummier: I made this post so people can understand where my logic is coming from.
I will fullclaim my abilities but not my flavor so claimvig wont get me

I can sort of see where you’re coming from here and knowing that you envy me does make me feel a bit better but think about this: If I was lying, why would I claim to have four abilities? I’d claim to have only two or three. Also, not all roles are considered equal. Some are more powerful than others.

Tinfoil: Because nobody had flipped at the time, meaning you had no reference other than the ToL Chronomancer which happen to have a lot of abilities.
When I look at Mode’s and my abilities, I can only see one strong ability accompanied by a passive demerit ability.
In your case… whether it be weak or strong, all your abilities are full of merit.
I can’t relate to your situation whatsoever.
