ToL does not wanna let me login

What happened?

When I opened ToL using Steam, it immediately crashed.

What was SUPPOSED to happen?

the game lets me click login and play the game.

Steps to reproduce:

open ToL Via Steam.

Comments:

when will the event end? I’m hoping to play before it shuts down
