I feel like these random theories about what happened last night aren’t getting anywhere. Any of them could happen but nothing is confirmed and it just skews our viewpoint.

What I think happened: Marshal, the witch, forced arete to target psquid in hopes of them getting shot, but when that failed, decided to fake invest results because they would throw their life on the line to get arete killed

This ties into a short theory I have. He could have claimed attacked and healed to cover up that someone tried to attack him but he survived due to immunity, but… both the Mafia and SK killed their targets. If someone else shot him, wouldn’t they have spoken up by now?

I disagree. It seems more like there trying to get Arete to advocate and townread them than to settle close to a scummate. At Katze’s level; they wouldn’t do this level of interaction with their scummate in my opinion.
