Jake, the best advice I could give you is self-reflect on your gameplay. Ask yourself, ā€œWould I vote someone scum if I saw them play like I do?ā€

I still question myself sometimes, but at least you can find the flaws and fix them in the future.

Every player is self aware to a certain degree. If people are saying ā€œYou seem self awareā€, it means youā€™re saying stuff that a townie shouldnā€™t be saying. If youā€™re town, think about what you type before you send it or youā€™ll be misconstrued.

No matter what I try, I get called scum.

The only time I was ever treated as town was in a game where I was scum.

So being town is literally in my scum meta.
