I strongly recommend this guide as a good introduction to How To Play Evils
specifically the paragraph below is pretty much the most useful single paragraph of advice on how to play scum that exists
Aim to be an effective scum rather than a “consensus townie”. Your win condition is to kill townies, not to imitate your town game or to side with the town. At the end of the game, people usually hail the mafia players that were considered consensus town, while they should be hailing the mafia players that managed to survive while getting tons of dirt on their hands. There are no bonus points awarded for being “consensus town” when the game has ended. If everyone in the graveyard is calling you an obvious scum, then great - that is why they are there.
@jmwjmw27 you did really well for your position but that RB really stopped you in your tracks 
2 escorts and a medium is insane and if we didnt lynch an escort D1 and have the medium claim a redcheck on the only TI this game would have been a town wash i think
also me dying n1 certainly didnt help, since our plan was to retrain wazza to being a something else (iirc a 2nd prankster) on N2 >.>
But yeah SK was fun. Way easier to play off than Mafia is. No one caught on to my jokes though. I kept making OJ jokes
