I’m thinking about my own playstyle here, and piggybacking when a member of my team is obviously about to eat rope (thanks Geyde!) would seem logical to do to prove my worth, yet scummy to everyone else.
That’s what scum basically do in these situations.
They “have” to vote their partner to not be lockscum, and typically they do
Generally the better play though is to branch off and go after a ‘scumread’ of your own.

But why? If you’re not a PR, you getting hung is a necessary evil. Town gains the knowledge in your death, town gets closer to winding their Scum list down. WHY be desperate to get suspician off you?
As in: lynch dat and Magnus. If their town, well, they can’t be! Except we are. Atleast i am.
I have accepted death Im willing to get lynched if thats what town needs to find the real scum team, but as it goes, you should always fight for yourself if your town

It’s generally the best option to play from your shitty position than fold your cards.
