Right now, immediately after you troll box someone, if they are vigilant, they will yell “TROLL BOX” and foil your master plan. For this reason, I suggest some changes:

Silence players after troll boxing them
Same effect as assassin’s distract; they can’t speak for 10 seconds. A smart troll box get’s someone on trial in less than that time. If this is OP, you can either make it less than 10 seconds of silence (5 maybe) or place a cooldown on this special troll box.

Scorned special troll box: secret troll box
This one is simple enough: The player you troll box will not see the message you made them send in the chat history (this troll box will not silence players like I suggested in suggestion 1). This makes it take much more time for people to spot the phantom troll box hiding somewhere, causing it to be much more effective. Used during a trial, it can cause someone’s death.

The scorned would have 2 normal troll boxes and 1 secret troll box.

I like the second idea. I think that should just be the normal troll box effect with no other changes.

Yeah sorry i didn’t see that you suggested it because you made it a sound a little complicated.
Just have trollbox as a whole silent to the player. and this would be awesome

I like the silence idea. But making the message invisible to the victim is unfair

That way, if they were talking consistently, they don’t abruptly stop

Actually, I think the message being invisible to the target would be VERY fun and cause a huge amount of chaos.

Turning off notifications of replies to this topic.

Trollbox making target unaware opens up endless possibilities and could be used as an advantage, or disadvantage. Depends how you play it.

I forget to add that the person with quotes is the one getting trollboxed and sudden votes towards random player brought up the confusion for the player.

It would cause chaos, but the person wouldn’t necessarily think they we troll boxed. They would likely scroll up to see what they missed

Precisely. If something weird happens, the person getting trollboxed is going to scroll up to re-read stuff instead of automatically assuming they must have been boxed.
