the first thing that really made me feel not good about pk was his hyperfocus on gold and the possibility of a neutral
I find that this kinda focus on a neutral doing the gold is much more natural from a scum PoV as they can be reasonably sure it isn’t them doing it and that perspective can kinda slip into their in-thread discussions of events like this

I’m sure it was a joke but these things don’t come from literally nowhere

I really think this kinda ties in with his whole approach in a way that just feels really bad
Like he writes off most of his neutral stuff as jokes and all that leaves is stuff that looks like trying to appear town rather than actually being it
for example
why go out of your way to like coach the modposter when they said they didn’t know how to use the ability effectively on night zero
It just seems like he’s wanting to seem useful but nothing he’s done has been anything more than that and if I don’t buy nobody in scumchat is telling him “post or people will scumread you” that is exactly what I would expect to see
and like he’ll fight me on the modposter right up until somebody suggests it could be scum and then he’s like “oh yeah that is a possibility” which always just felt like TMI that it’s not a scum ability
there’s no guarantee this is all TMI but it sure as hell felt like it in realtime
when I start sussing him out is when he starts deflecting to “jokes” and the classic “why me”
which I’ve already touched on but it’s not reassuring, especially when he went out of his way to like my accusation that what he’s been doing is >rand scum
also more on the neut focus, something else I find scum often do in closed setups
his mind literally never goes to “could be scum” it just defaults to “could be netural” and I hate it
so yeah that’s about when I was sold on the PK vote
also him fighting derps’ gorta clear for one post, while not inherently AI, certainly falls in line with trying to keep all options open, and PK has closed exactly zero doors for himself to this point
the stuff rue pointed out is indeed not great but in the context of the above it’s worse and again the man has done literally nothing pro-town to this point but is more than happy to write off vast swaths of content as “jokes”

and then he comes out with the scumread on Santa that is basically just based on buzzwords
he acknowledges the feeling that posting will get him out of the PoE
but still doesn’t post anything of substance which is what I would expect a town trying to get out of the PoE to consider might be part of that package deal
and that’s basically the entire iso, he dipped like 10 hours ago and even though some of that is explainable by sleep it doesn’t change the fact that like 2/3rds of his iso is before I started pushing him and of that he claims more than half of it is purely jokes he can’t be read off of
