If there are no Undead or Cult, why does it need to do anything? Paladin and Sheriff are like this when only the NK remains already. It also rarely happens
That’s the main problem with the current paladin and sheriff though. And there’s still no risk to it. Omniscient abilities are never good. That’s mainly why it should affect anyone.
Then you’re casting circle of death and probably killing mostly Blue Dragon.
That’s the point. It’s overpowered if it only affects evils. It should be high risk high reward.
The untargetable at night passive gives away their identity to everybody …
They appear dead. And you only reanimate dead people, so this isn’t a problem.
And the only powers that allow them to talk and stuff, also make them able to be targeted.
It’s like Death Knights!
A whole faction of Death Knights.
And a couple real people.
And a Death Knight that can turn into a person.
Added a class for when you reanimate the King.
Note: It is not for the Evil King. It is for reanimated Kings.
How does this work exactly? Is it like priest revive?
Yes they do. The evils are very powerful and a soft counter helps to keep them in check.
AKA: They are useless after you have already won.
Eh. They aren’t really needed. They do work, though. Still, it would be fine to have them all be the same class.
Of course, Smite wouldn’t work for the Unseen, as it would either just stop conversions, or kill the Mastermind.
Just for balance purposes, I would prefer Kings not being able to be reanimated.
They don’t. If a faction is powerful then that should be fixed by balancing them, not giving them a soft counter.
That’s bad balance. And it’s not uncommon for the BD to win after the sheriffs/paladins are dead. They’re not needed. I’d prefer it if sheriff was changed so it affects all evil factions and paladin was reworked into a support class.
Not always. Possessor actually stands a chance. The other NKs would if they got buffed.
That would be overpowered. It works for the cult because the cult can infinitely convert
Check the context. I said it wouldn’t work.
I don’t see any “Reanimated King” here.
Also, you could call it the “Lich” since that is usually a King.
I removed it.
I thought it would be kind of cool to have one, though. Why did you do that?
This is why
It would be an interesting twist, making it so the BD would try not to execute a King.
Also, in an Undead game, The Evil faction just can’t afford to put any of their shills in as a King.
Because then the Necromancer would lose his Acolyte.
It’s better to raise one from the dead, even if it’s temporary.
(BD are wary of killing a king because an Unseen King can be made to exist. But in an Undead game it’s all fine and dandy, nobody would care)
