my struggle is actually with open/closed syllables
in portuguese we have those candy markers for when a syllable is open and when it is closed and when it has a nasal sound
but then you have english words
which are totally arbitrary on writing

I discovered there is a phonem that no language uses!
I was searching for the brazilian accent on words that end in consonants because we always put some imaginary vogal after them when pronoucing since we aren’t used to syllables ending in consonants
