I guess my teacher never actually taught synthetic division, kinda just did it once and told us to figure it out.

But i figured out both and long division is way better for making sure you don’t make mistakes

I remember having to like divide everything because x being multiples and then having to multiply the remainder and that screwed me over though

i mean for remainder you just put it over the divisor and that’s easy.

When we started it
and the thing you divided it by was like (3x-1)
And you had to divide everything by three
And then for it to be accurate you had to multiply the remained by 3 because our teacher didn’t like it when we put it over the divisor for some reason

And dividing things was just like a fuck you
I don’t even know why it’s simple it’s jsut my brain can’t function
