We don’t have heating systems (if someone has it is a portable heater that can only get one room at a time, like the opposite of a ventilator) but the worst our winter can get is 0ºC so ehh.

The funny thing is it’s pretty likely storms like this are helped (not caused but helped) by global warming

Snow needs moisture in the atmosphere, and global warming does just that

Additionally, the reduced differences in temperature between middling latitudes and the poles causes disruptions in the polar jet streams to be more common, pushing cold air farther towards the equator (exactly like what we’re seeing now)

All in all it’s a bad time
