In real life it is used in your career if it’s in your field. Maths is responsible for so many things in your life that you are probably unaware of.

It also teaches you logical thinking, which can benefit you in every area of life. Maths is a certain way of thinking about things systematically.

Well I don’t know many engineers to be honest, so I can’t comment too much on it.

I did Econometrics, so it’s more statistics oriented and somewhat specialized, but we had the same basic intro math courses as normal Math majors.

Okay yeah when you put it like that that wasn’t even that hard lmao

Finished a and the answer is 1

Rather than deal with calculating the volume of a polyhedron though I realized that you could split the resulting volume up into two tetrahedrons and then use 1/6 times the cross and dot product of the vectors between the vertices to calculate the volume. Just add each tetrahedron together and bam!
