As I see it, people can give cop cover two ways: a low key way, where they take no action against their greencheck, and one where they drive hard to protect their greencheck.
Obviously the latter makes more sense for the cop, and the former for the cover. However, once this is recognized, it just goes to wifom.
The wolves can rule out marshal if they want, at their own risk. Same for any of the rest of us, 'cept of course those that have bad greenchecks.
