So basically:

  • Ash
  • Squid
  • Wazza

Ash: my brain keeps being like ‘but what if poCKETING’ but I basically don’t see a world where Marshal-in-particular aggressively pushes for W!Ash’s lynch on D1 and D2, and sets up Ash v. Merc as a direct thunderdome

Squid: I considered the possibility of Marshal having been distancing but then I re-read (the start of) her Iso and she seems pretty obviously genuinely frustrated at Marshal in a way that’s basically never a W/W dynamic (I can quote specific posts if you want)

Wazza: this one was the one I was most worried about misclearing based on how Marshal was repeatedly quoting the post I wrote about how you should lynch him if it’s LyLo and he hasn’t been the driving force behind a wolf lynch and talking about how Wazza would clear him (which gave it >rand bus equity in my opinion), but I re-read Wazza’s D3 and I don’t think W!Wazza goes in so hard with the reverse bus (in addition to all the other miscellaneous townie things he’s been doing) so Wazza is almost certainly just town. Wazza’s D3 also doesn’t really support Wazza/Jake as a world which was the main team I was seeing as viable in a Wazza world

So I guess the only thing to worry about is jake vs bep, and if we choose wrong, how to make the F3 people do what we want…

Although the scumteam might get smart and nightkill bep or jake. That’d be the real power move.

If our PoE is correct and they nightkill Jake or Bep they’re doing our job for us

Like as far as I can tell your reasons are “was townread by Marshal” and “technically it’s possible that I would randomly push a lynch to an {unknown}/V rand the day before LyLo for zero reason” and both of those are bad reasons

is this an accurate representation of what you believe

I definitely agree that his push on ari/wazza does not look like a bus.
I honestly think that you may have overestimated that one post’s influence on marshal.

I haven’t re-read the squid v. marshal on D1, but I do remember that squid got pretty worked up over it.

Read the first ~50 posts of Squid’s Iso, that’s about how far I got before being like “okay this definitely isn’t a W/W interaction”

These were some of the specific posts that made me rule out Squid/Marshal as a possibility (all of them are directed at Marshal). I don’t see W!Squid as faking this sort of anger at Marshal.
