I’m on mobile right now, so I can’t properly Iso people, but from what I remember here are my thoughts so far:
Luxy: Townread. His thought process and progression has felt really natural to me and I like his willingness to reconsider his scumread on Set; I don’t think Set/Luxy is ever W/W and if it’s W/V with Luxy W I’d have expected him to keep the push up.
Alice/Monokuma: Townread. Given her meta her interactions with Set feel W/W and I’m pretty sure W!Alice with V!Set would’ve been perfectly willing to go along with the push on him, based on what I’ve seen from her in other games.
Datbird: Townlean. Both of the times I’ve played scum with him before he’s been nervous and struggled to generate content; the Dat I’m seeing here is closer to relaxed town Dat who just says everything that pops into his head. If he’s faking it I expect it to be obvious by early D2 at the latest.
Mercenary: Townlean. Liking what I remember of her thought process and she’s been exploring new thread directions in a way that’s both natural and helpful (I’ll try to find examples when I get off mobile).
Red_Sea: Null
H_Hja: Null
SetToBlow: Scumlean. Early reads were very hedgy and his response to being scumread feels really forced.
James: Scumread. Came in with a weak and poorly-explained townread on Set, then when he was pressured for more content his further posts were basically just shading that didn’t even manage to reach any conclusions.
Other thoughts: I don’t like how much consensus there seems to be. Thinking it indicates either that wolves are basically happy with the threadstate or else that they’re really not succeeding at doing anything in the thread.
Thoughts on the explanation?

I want to elaborate more on this, given Mercenary hasn’t done anything to make me reconsider.
This post is particularly bad. The main points are falsehoods/exaggerations and her reasoning for both me and Set being scum is headcannon. Notice how Mercenary has not reconsidered anything despite the changing interaction and opinions between myself and Set and her story changes to justify her read, rather making a read and then thinking up possible scenarios. Like first it was me bussing set despite bussing being an awful play in this setup, and now its distancing.
Falsehoods from the post:
Saying she taught Set about WK’ing, when he literally said he just hadn’t seen it before.
Saying Set jumped to her being mafia despite my entire push on Set being for his hedge on merc.
There was really no support for the idea of me bussing Set so if I was bussing why would I suddenly pull out?
Tinfoil on us planning the reaction test, despite her bad reaction to it rather than Set’s.
Mercenary’s ISO is particularly bad also:
Already trying to set up a lynch chain on me and set despite the developments in our interaction by changing her story to fit what happens instead of reevaluating her read. Very agendery.
I’m not sure what these posts mean but they seem like an attempt to provide content, which is useless.

Overall, I’m even more sure on Mercenary flipping scum rather than I was on Set. Her entire read on Set and I relies on headcannon, and her story around us is changing based on our interaction rather than her read changing, in order to justify her lynch order on two people that she knows are town.
Furthermore, her reads are awful and wishywashy. Any townreads she’s made shes backtracked on: keeping her options open. She scumreads me yet sheeps me on Set and agree with my points. Surely townies don’t sheep their scumreads. She harps on about my joke vote on Alice even though there was no one in thread at the time I posted it, and is scumreading me for my eagerness to play like what? Her progression is almost non-existant and she just randomly calls people scum and then renegs on it when it doesn’t work.
I think Mercenary should be the lynch today. /vote Mercenary

No, I have backtracked my scumread in Dat and now I townread him. I backtracked Arete from slightly scum to “no opinion”.
I agree with your points because I think the entire interaction set is faked. It is almost like I didn’t keep saying this.
I always provided reason on my scumreads. It was never. Random.
Quotes would be nice.
Honestly? Your defensiveness in response to the push is part of why I’m scumreading you, it gives me vibes of when you slipped in LotR and got super defensive.
