Essentially not picking a side is seen as scummy, you saying you couldnt tell if it it was scmmy or towny is like such a hedge read, and people sr hedgereads. See me in SF4

Because you didn’t make a conclusion on the read and effectively just said ‘they could be town or scum’ even while listing positive things.

This allows scum to appear to be reading while also keeping their mislynch options open

Scum are reluctant to townread someone because its very hard to fake a towny 180 and most of the time it comes across as scum not having anyone to mislynch
