The original reason why I scumread Nuclear was because her actions doesn’t make sense if it comes from town because she wanted chaos.
But then Windward taught me that it wouldn’t make sense to come from scum either since she would be attracting attention because of her weird actions, and that she is at best null.
I’d understand your point if it was about their reads, but I am fairly certain you yourself said that she wanted January dead, and as far as I can remember, it’s because he’s annoying, rather than because he is scummy.
…ah, right. Because everyone who rants about RL in main thread always has to be town?
–y’know what, I’ll just chalk this up as meta-reading so I don’t have to give both of us headaches.
Wonder how much I can type without it getting deleted again
I should start drafting these in my notes and just pasting them in when I’m done
Silviu does that thing regardless of alignment where he talks a lot about how to solve, but the thing is he gave none of his own takes in Duality Mafia before replacing out. He’s also given no takes here except that Leafia was a null which is… not a read. In Duality Mafia he did not give reads until he was “interviewing” Lukundo, who was also a wolf. All he did was ask for Luk’s reads and kind of waited for someone else to solve the game for him. In the current game he complained about backreading which I never remember him doing before and just asked people for their reads without giving his own takes, until I called out Leafia for a wolfy looking post that I assumed she posted as a wolf, and then Silviu stepped in and explained it with a very blatant assumption she was town.
So I called Silviu out on his assumption that Leafia made the post as town, and asked why he townread Leafia because I scumread her. He said that he wasn’t townreading Leafia, he just thought she was a null, and didn’t really like that I was assuming he townread her. But he never, ever considered that Leafia could have made that post as a wolf, and I thought it was a very wolfy post and had assumed she made it as a wolf (hence my reaction to it was “wtf”).
Silviu then proceeded to call me out for questioning him and said I never do this in any other games we’re in, which is odd because I’ve definitely pushed him before as he’s kind of always LHF (I pushed him into a misyeet the first time I played with him because I found his general behavior scummy, but at this point I’m aware some things appear in his meta regardless of alignment). It sounded like he was trying to formulate a scumread on me, so I decided to straight-out push him to see what would happen. I’ve seen how he reacts as town to getting pushed and I don’t think his reaction here resembled that. So then he said he was suspicious of my push on him, and somehow was not suspicious of Leafia who immediately grabbed my push and voted Silviu off of my statement that Silviu looked like he had TMI. I actually thought it looked very opportunistic and that Leafia might have actually been certain she was now pushing a wolf because she was also a wolf, hence I said they might be w/w.
The thing is that Leafia sheeps people she townreads, and it’s sometimes hard to tell the difference between when she is sheeping as town and when she is opportunistically jumping on as scum, so I was still suspicious. The only thing that gave me hesitation at that point was Silviu’s treatment of her slot, where he had explained for Leafia what her post was about from a t!Leafia POV, and that he was only sussing me and not her for pushing him, and specifically “because you don’t do this to me” or whatever he said in reference to previous games.
I had been struggling with finding anything worth putting my investment / effort into.
I voted Vul because I wanted to pressure him, but the answers and his discussion with you were too sophisticated for me to understand.
I switched to Silviu so my vote wouldn’t end up in a vanity wagon. However, I didn’t properly read Windward’s argument. Had I done so, then I would’ve probably had more investment on Silviu, and remained on his wagon.
I returned to a cluster**** where you argued with Leafia, I bought her AtE wallpost, and I saw that you were losing your temper.
I noticed that while that **** was happening, Nuclear was voting people left and right, but you started a thunderdome with Leafia, so I got distracted and voted you.
That was -in hindsight- a big mistake, since ignoring the thunderdome and staying on Silviu should’ve been the better option.
Leafia’s wagon kept gaining momentum, so I reposted the wallpost which made me think she is town, but nobody really got affected by it. Leafia’s self-pres was too scummy by that point.
I then complained about Nuclear, but got told by Windward, cloned, and you that D1 was not the day to focus on her. I kept pushing Nuclear for a bit longer, but it was clear that it would never gain momentum because of the thunderdome, so I just left the thread.
