But I also think Zone’s been villagery today (even though I think he’s wrong on City), especially compared to his previous days, and Marl pushing on him feels like he’s pushing for another misyeet. But it’s not like he doesn’t do this as town sometimes (not even sometimes).
Marl, can you do the following?
Yeah, the way he’s approached today is why he’s higher than bottom tier of my reads and I think he’s actually villagerier than Marl if I ignore day 1. If I don’t ignore day 1, they are roughly equal. Marl had two horrendous pushes and Zone was playing in a super cautious manner I don’t expect from v!him, even factoring in the playstyle change he declared.
Look, just like how you don’t believe City is scum, I don’t believe that City is town. So instead how about we follow cloned and Windward’s thought process, and go for Marl instead, whose death gives more information than City?

Zone
So far I don’t think Zone is scum. It’s not the strongest read; I get exactly why Marl thinks he’s wolfing, and it’s because he’s not making waves and causing chaos. But given that Zone announced in signups that he was going to change his playstyle, I’m not thinking so much about how he’s playing, as I am about why he’s doing certain things and what he’s getting out of it. I do think he’s analyzing the interactions he has, because he’s been reevaluating consistently after any interactions that give him something to reconsider. I’ve only been in one game where he was a wolf, and I wolfed with him, but we didn’t rand wolf until D4 because it was Quantum Mafia and I was just trying to avoid drawing attention to myself because it was my first wolfgame. I didn’t pay so much attention to what Zone was doing in there other than that he had thread control and seemed to be mimicking his usual meta pretty well, so maybe I need to examine his slot closer, but i have some other slots I want to look at first before I get around to his.

most of the slots I wanted to look at before Zone’s are dead, except for Vulgard, so that part of the post is a bit outdated.
I don’t particularly like Zone’s pushes today, but I’m not ruling out that they can still come from town. I want to hear more explanations from him on his reads.
