There’s a theoretical possibility where Squirrel doesn’t die tonight because they are a wolf. Honestly, though, the previous player in the slot played like a PR the whole game. Sure, a wolf can claim PR, but a wolf doesn’t play like one from day 1. Why? A wolf can’t be certain they will actually be able to claim in this setup. For Nuclear to play like this as a wolf, she would have to expect on day 1 that she’ll be able to kill the actual motion detector before the massclaim happens. And going even further, she would also have to expect all her teammates will survive. If the massclaim happens on day 3 as planned, her team needs to win quickly, or her survival gets questioned. I’m pretty sure the massclaim plan was invented on day 1. Sure, she could claim VT during massclaim and then turn it into an MD claim, but… yeah. I find it implausible.
January is really the only option in my mind if zone/min/cloned isn’t the team. Everyone else is either too villagery or outright cleared.
Except… technically, I could be wrong on City. If City isn’t the person I think they are, their wolf equity rises. The only reason I hold the townread there is that I think I’m pretty sure who it is. I’ve described their meta in detail already.
But Marl seemed to have the same idea. If we were all collectively wrong on City’s identity and mistakenly read them town on meta, then I guess we deserve to lose this game?
If she was the easiest yeet in the game, then why wasn’t she removed out of the equation at D2?
…or rather, why does it look like she will reach LYLO?
Okay, so assuming she is villager and doesn’t have TMI, why did she end up voting Marl when that was unnecessary?
You didn’t join EOD, but had you hypothetically been there, then you -or Clown- could have voted min and saved Marl. Why did City ensure Marl’s death when she didn’t have to?
–also, I am heavily regretting continuing this conversation but at this point I really want to know why you are defending City so much.
I think some of his takes are actually too reasonable
Idk if that makes any sense but he’s the only one clearing me for my rude ass outburst on D3 at cloned and even cloned isn’t clearing me
I think cloned is town judging by how fast people hopped on his wagon, it isn’t a read I’m super certain on and I honestly hate admitting it, but I think Vulgard has TMI on it that cloned and I are both town and is choosing to push cloned instead of me because there was more interest yesterday in a wagon on cloned than on me.
Idk if you guys follow my thoughts but feel free to discuss this
Vulgard, go ahead and defend yourself, I’m willing to listen.
I think cloned is a wolf, same with vul. I really wouldn’t let them somehow join towncore again but knowing the fact NOBODY has pushed on cloned that’ll likely happen
Like I said, I don’t know how to defend myself. It’s always been a weakness of my play. I don’t know how to clear myself if my play doesn’t do it by itself.
What I can do is answer questions.
I think that’s actually not very complicated. It’s not in your personality to fabricate this as a wolf. Cloned’s alignment doesn’t even matter. Your outburst directed at cloned showed a level of attachment to the game that I doubt you could replicate as a wolf. The indignation in that entire post felt like it definitely came from the heart.
People who aren’t clearing you for this don’t seem to know you very well. And I won’t claim I know you very well, but I’ve seen you play. Ditto.
I think calling cloned town because people hopped on his wagon quickly is a dangerous assumption. Can you tell me which moment specifically you’re referring to? Who hopped on the wagon seems important. Flashwagons can be all-town.
Also, as a wolf, I could definitely push you at any point during the game. You could argue I’m pocketing you, but that doesn’t do me any good, considering you’ve scumread me throughout the entire game. At least, I think you did. I don’t remember you ever townreading me.
I have no idea, I’m not in City’s head but my only point here is that I don’t think it was wolfy. Wasn’t Marl going over even without city’s vote?
Actually I take that back, this whole discussion was about tied wagons so I guess my vote might have made a difference. But the last thing I did was ISO min and I decided they weren’t as scummy as I thought, which worried me because I still thought Marl might be town too and there was nowhere else to vote. I came back to the game 8 min after EoD without reloading the posts or checking the time and started writing up a post to encourage a CFD onto Vulgard but questioned if anyone was going to listen to me or if I’d be fucking the town over, but it looks like we were fucked to begin with so whatever. And I realized once I finished replying to posts that the thread was closed and the day had ended lol.
I don’t honestly know why I’m defending city but I feel (eww, gut, whatever) more confident in my read on city than on anyone else besides myself and Squirrel. So if I’m working on structuring my PoE, City is not in it. The thing is that City hasn’t been pushing agenda as far as I can tell, they haven’t been opportunistic, and they really haven’t cared to try harder in this game even under pressure. Wouldn’t a wolf care more than that?
Like I said before, listening to PRs is the best thing to do in a vacuum. The problem is that Squirrel is a replacement and also new. At least, I think they are.
RNG isn’t even that bad right now, when you think about it. It’s >rand to hit a wolf. 3/8 is 37.5%. =Rand is 25% to hit a wolf.
