Aren’t there better players that should be resolved ASAP?

I simply hate thinking along these lines? I want to get wolves, not “resolve slots.”

I guess I can understand this, but imo he’d do this with a number of other players but never Leafia. I’ve been in most or all of the games where Marl was town and Leafia was wolf, and that was pretty much exactly how he pushed her in those games. The thing is that Leafia is very often LHF when she’s town because she does things that are considered wolfy, and she spews TMI when she’s a wolf, so sometimes telling the difference is harder than you’d initially think. Either way, it makes her a very easy push, and she does get bussed by teammates when she’s beyond the point of no return. As town, she tends to dig her own grave while defending herself because the way she reacts and panics to pushes is pretty similar to how she flails as a wolf. The only real difference is that she kind of drops a bit of TMI as wolf, but you never know for certain until she flips.

My point in saying this is, there’s no reason for any wolf to offer to sacrifice themselves to get a misyeet on Leafia because she’s almost always an easy push. So Marl doming her yesterDay is town AI because he would’ve worked a bit more subtly if he were a wolf.

I could see him thunderdoming any other player on this list as a wolf, and I thought he was going to thunderdome Vulgard, but he ended up going for Leafia instead which is why I’m saying I don’t think it comes from a wolf. If he wanted a strong player out and if Marl and Vulgard are never both wolves, he would 100% have gone for Vulgard if he was wolfing, and not Leafia.

I kinda agree and disagree at the same time. It’d probably be more beneficial for him to suicide onto me if he were doming as a wolf, rather than Leafia. At the same time, though, I doubt he’d try to suicide onto me in the first place. He’d basically always be dying on the next day, because I don’t think the village would let him live for that…? I hope?

I think the possibility is minuscule, though. As in, the three wolves all being offwagon and not being named Whysper. Unless you think Whysper’s going to self-hammer with two teammates.

Well yeah, you have a point that he probably wouldn’t suicide onto you in the first place as a wolf, unless he’s specifically trying to buy time. But suiciding onto you on D1 would’ve been a weird move as a wolf unless he’s certain he could get out of it. At any rate, it didn’t happen lol.

To me, they are the same thing. How do you get wolves without resolving their slots i.e. by exe’ing them?

You can look at the 2 mafia games I played recently, I wouldn’t give you the luxury of pushing me if I was mafia.

actually, to add to that - it does benefit wolves if they can get strong villagers out, so w!Marl would want v!Vulgard out, especially since you were pushing on him. Not sure if it’s worth suiciding over, though.
