Come to think of it, fakeclaiming PR is something wolves can and will do in this setup, so this isn’t as villagery as I initially thought. Still wouldn’t expect him to say that as W in the moment there, though.
Looks a bit opportunistic in hindsight. But again, still don’t take w!Eli as the type to hardpush a villager at the very start of the game.
Especially not with this level of conviction in the read. I’ve never seen wolf Eli push a villager with confidence at any point.
For Marl: This is the type of thing I really hate, because it’s an easy opening wolves can and will go for. This is what I was talking about re: my anti-openwolfing spiel a few days back. Idk if he’s a villager or a wolf doing it, I think his alignment is essentially a coinflip rn and he’s my preferred vig shot, but either way it’s bad.
I’m reading this back and this still looks like min TMI’d Leafia as town in the first 100 posts of the game, possibly for the sake of being contrarian to the thread sentiment.
Zone ignoring the Leafia conundrum entirely is noteworthy. It’s possible he’s ignoring it because he knows Leafia’s a villager, so he doesn’t care; at the same time, though, as a wolf he might’ve felt obligated to talk about her because that was the main “thing” to talk about at the time. Leaning toward the second option. Marl’s description of Zone’s play as “not making waves” is apt, that’s how I remember his wolfgame as well, and the lack of Leafia discourse here might indicate he isn’t really trying to fit in during his opening string of posts.
Mmh, I haven’t really changed my mind on that. This is the single wolfiest thing min has done all game and it happened at the very start, when wolves most commonly make mistakes / are wolfy.
This is really cheap. Like, really really cheap. Easiest vote one could ever cast in that situation. Unfortunately, I don’t think it’s AI.
This is a pure “what the heck” take, but villagery in a vacuum. The bolded part in particular. I dislike the preflip a lot on principle but I don’t think it’s wolfy, especially he doesn’t use it to push any agenda later on.
The reason I don’t think wolf cloned would say this in the moment is the fact that wolves can and will fakeclaim PR here if they can get away with it. By mentioning fakeclaiming PRs, it’s like he’d be giving a clue to the villagers that’s framed as a joke, and making it harder for himself (and his team) to get away with fakeclaiming PRs later. I know this probably doesn’t make much sense, but it’s mostly a mindset read/interpretation and I’m trying to explain it the best I can.
I don’t think it’s clearing but I think it’s >rand V to say there.
