[VFM] Elf Gold Rush - Game Over. Humans Win!

So basically, if you assume min is town despite world-o-nomics, Zone is the next “common denominator” between worlds.

I really should’ve condensed this into a single post.

This sounded really mean. I meant it more like “being very skilled at wolf theater.”

I’m going to pretend you’re an innocent child for a moment. @min From your POV, which of these is more likely and why?

Actually, January/City/cloned is also an option I didn’t mention. Pretend I listed three from the start.

This is assuming min is town. In that world, either the Zone/City or the January/cloned clear has to be wrong.

I really shouldn’t be telling you to do things here if you’re town. If you’re town, we’re likely to lose at some point. The circumstances and worldbuilding don’t look good for you.

“cloned wolf” isn’t going to cut it anymore. Even if cloned is a wolf and we yeet him, we still have to find his teammates.

the players who are still alive are:

clonedcheese
January
Vulgard
Zone_Q11
min
City
Squirrel2412
WindwardAway

This is in playerlist order for simplicity btw.
I don’t care what Zone thinks about Squirrel, I’m not touching him.
I clear myself because I’m the one writing this. Feel free to make your own lists like this, though.

clonedcheese
January
Vulgard
Zone_Q11
min
City

so that’s 3 town and 3 wolves in some order or another.

Step 1: all possible teams

All possible teams fmpov include (feel free to quote this and replace it with my name instead of yours):

cloned/Jan/Vul
cloned/Jan/Zone
cloned/Jan/min
cloned/Jan/City

cloned/Vul/Zone
cloned/Vul/min
cloned/Vul/City

cloned/Zone/min
cloned/Zone/City

cloned/min/City

Jan/Vul/Zone
Jan/Vul/min
Jan/Vul/City

Jan/Zone/min
Jan/Zone/City

Jan/min/City

Vul/Zone/min
Vul/Zone/City

Vul/min/City

Zone/min/City

Step 2: removing pairings

Now, I’ll go for eliminating the least likely teams according to what’s been said in the thread. I’ll go by association reads and eliminate by unlikely pairs first.

I don’t think cloned and January stage wolf theatre over gyros, honestly. That blew up way more than it needed to.

cloned/Jan/Vul
cloned/Jan/Zone
cloned/Jan/min
cloned/Jan/City

cloned/Vul/Zone
cloned/Vul/min
cloned/Vul/City

cloned/Zone/min
cloned/Zone/City

Not seeing this one.

cloned/min/City

Not seeing these, and if any of these are the team then I have zero chance of solving this game.

Jan/Vul/Zone
Jan/Vul/min
Jan/Vul/City

Jan/Zone/min
Jan/Zone/City

Jan/min/City

Vul/Zone/min
Vul/Zone/City

Vul/min/City

Zone/min/City

Step 3: removing townreads

So now I’m left with the following possible teams. If I go ahead and trust that City is town, all these teams with City disappear:

cloned/Vul/Zone
cloned/Vul/min
cloned/Vul/City

cloned/Zone/min
cloned/Zone/City

Jan/Zone/min
Jan/Zone/City

Jan/min/City

Vul/Zone/min
Vul/Zone/City

Vul/min/City

Zone/min/City

Step 4: analyzing the results

There are only 5 teams left, assuming I’ve done this correctly. It’s always possible I made a wrong turn somewhere, so if someone else wants to do it as well, please do (and tag me so I can see it).

cloned/Vul/Zone
cloned/Vul/min

cloned/Zone/min

Jan/Zone/min

Vul/Zone/min

What does this tell us? There seems to only be one team that actually works with January on it, and yet there are 4 teams that work with min on it. There’s only one solve that includes v!Min so that’s worth taking into consideration.

If I decide to take out the remaining teams with both cloned and min on it (honestly because I forgot to do it earlier and I don’t want to rewrite this post), that leaves us with:

cloned/Vul/Zone

Jan/Zone/min

Vul/Zone/min

Zone is on all 3 teams
Vul and min are each on 2 teams
cloned and January are each on 1 team and never w/w with each other

Now you should be able to understand my thought process, and comment on which steps you think are right or wrong.

This is roughly where I land when I remove myself from the equation. Min fitting on the most teams, Zone as the secondary, particularly with min town.

I lowkey think this could have been a mistake tbh

This assumes the clears are correct, but yeah. My results are basically the same as yours, despite me using a slightly different configuration of players in my analysis.

well, yeah, but if Squirrel is a wolf I think we’re actually fucked

At this point, I don’t want to remove City from teams just because I can. I don’t want to ignore worlds such as Zone being right on City and also town, for instance.

Squirrel should resolve automatically. If they survive to final 3, then whoever else is alive should snapvote them.

I don’t see the wolves keeping a clear alive this long.

right, I can put City back in and see what I get
I don’t think City and Zone are ever w/w because Zone was so interested in City’s slot

So, basically, I wouldn’t consider Squirrel at the moment and just kill them automatically if they are alive in something like the final 3 for some reason.

Yeah, putting Zone and City together on a team implies you assume bussing. Which is something I’ve considered, but I don’t think it makes much sense for Zone to bus here, and City of all slots.

What kind of wolfteam could even afford to do this? Which living player could even win a final 3 with a clear alive?
