[VFM] Elf Gold Rush - Game Over. Humans Win!

Oh
Nobody else vote Vulgard for now, I guess

As someone who thought Vulgard was eaisly town, gl you guys

The problem is that I’ve seen how he wolfs before and he’s very good at keeping a decent tone and putting in some busy work to make himself look like he’s solving.

The inconsistencies that Marl pointed out, which Vulgard said aren’t really inconsistencies, are something I also saw but didn’t really think so hard about until Marl pointed them out tbh. But I feel like since that point, Vulgard has changed the tone of his posts, and has gone to pushing Marl in a way that seems like he doesn’t want it to look like OMGUS so he delayed calling Marl a wolf, but that it’s still actually OMGUS to a certain extent. Because he called Marl confbiased and tunnelly first and then switched to voting him and saying that his behavior is wolfy, which again is a contradiction.

I do plan to ISO Vulgard and reevaluate him before EoD, though, so if I find anything that changes my mind there or in his interactions up till then, I’ll mention it.

Fuck my post got deleted again

I’m on mobile and if I accidentally tap the edge I’d the text box it deletes the entire post and I’m not sure why

Anyway I’m gonna look to see if I can find Vulgard’s reads on players who aren’t Marl, because I don’t remember seeing too much detail on them after SoD

I’m a little concerned about the dogpile on his wagon, though, because for some reason I wasn’t expecting him to be leading wagon when I placed my vote

all of your verbiage here makes it feel like you have tmi
i keep seeing stuff like this
instead of going ā€œI’m not sure on leafia’s alignmentā€ it’s ā€œShe might not be a wolfā€

Do you have any person of interest?

first of all
this is extremely ā€œI’ve been caught for the wrong reasonsā€

secondly, i DID have reasons to do so
there were several contradictions in your train of thought earlier in the game that you have yet to actually address

village you would have at least come back to your min read after doubting leafia being a wolf, and i haven’t seen you talk about min since i called out your bad push on them

you’re in full ā€œfuck i’m caught might as well thunderdome and hope i winā€ mode since you know once i’m gone you’ll have it 10x easier because most of these players aren’t loud enough to go up against you

Calling min lhf isn’t a preflip. When min is town they are often easy to push on in my experience, hence them typically being Lhf

also some of mins contentless posts make me think they are town, which might seem like a weird read but i still think it holds up

leafia, if a wolf, will implode eventually
dont think i have ever seen them endgame as a wolf and i doubt it’ll start now

if you are a wolf i need to find you TODAY before i give scum a chance to act at night

quote it, that isn’t what i said at all @Vulgard

Arete didn’t make it a point to go on a rant about stuff like this literally 2 days before this game started though. You were talking about openwolfing as a joke, but still, they serve the same purpose!

Once again ā€œcaught for the wrong reasonsā€
also you said yourself you found several of my posts extremely towny
and when it didn’t work to pocket me you were forced into thunderdoming me instead like i did with chloe in RWBY.

You can throw around as many buzzwords as you like but it isn’t going to make me change my read on you.

I’d probably kill Marl over Vulgard, but that’s how the cookie crumbles

Kind of emotional still, but trying to stay active because I’m home alone

but everyone is asleep :frowning:

I’m not going to engage with Marl anymore because I don’t see the point. He’s a wolf. Please, trust me on this. I don’t think enough people are seeing it at the moment, but I could actually reverse what he said and apply it to him - I also need to get Marl out here as a villager. Because I don’t see many people attempting that later, even when I flip V.

At any rate, the alternative wagons are all bad fmpov. I think January is always town here and them arguing with people so much doesn’t make them any less town. I think Leafia is likely to be a villager considering Marl, and even outside of that I didn’t find her super wolfy. I think cloned is a villager because the way he engaged with the game is much more aggressive than I expect from wolf!him; he has actual pushes and is arguing with people instead of trying to fade into the background for the most part.

I’m actually also starting to townread min, because the way they’re handling my slot genuinely seems like my push on them tainted their opinion on me, rather than it being pure OMGUS or something else.

On the contrary, Wind taking a mostly neutral stance here and being fairly withdrawn in general, coupled with her leaning toward helping Marl without actually picking his side, reeks of a wolf who wants to position herself in a pro-wolf manner within the thunderdome. I admit that this is mostly colored by my Marl read, but yeah. I also know this sounds like ā€œshe’s not siding with me, therefore she must be a wolf,ā€ but it’s not that. It’s possible I’m just explaining it badly.

I’m going to read other players today if/when I have time.

I endgamed as a wolf my first two games on the site.

That being said, I’m 95% sure right now that Marl/Vulgard contains exactly one wolf and my confidence that it’s Marl is slipping a bit. Vulgard still seems townie I think though. Currently 65% sure Marl is the wolf of the two. The 5% of my mind that’s saying that Vulgard/Marl is t/t is telling me to remember how Marl as a villager deathtunneled Chloe, also a villager, all of D1 the first game that I had with him and that this situation is looking exactly like that one right now.

I wasn’t even the first one to say it Marl and I’ve played tons of games, both as town and as scum, before my first game with you.

I mean, I could go on and on about how I firmly believe he’s manipulating reality, but I don’t think that’ll be productive.

I’ll get to reading others.
