• Marluxion is probably my top townread right now; I thought their opener was ~good but thought their response to my question regarding Trochi was very good: it both demonstrated a similar train of thought to myself and included their own subjective takes on the post in a natural way.
• Nightingale is also up there, their opener was the best out of anyone who’s posted, and while they didn’t really answer my question on Trochi correctly , they did so in a way that demonstrated a wider worldview in a good way, and if Trochi is a villager I’d probably lock Night as a villager as well for it.
• Derps/Gorta are both meeting the “classic Derps/Gorta” quota.

i’ve looked at some of my past games, trying to figure out what i can do to improve my play beyond absolute flaming garbage and something i immediately locked onto is how exactly i play D1. normally, i shitpost until the thread state becomes too content-y for me to ignore and i begrudgingly throw out a reads list full of hedginess and leans to try and look like i’m actually doing something.

my plan today is to find at least two 100% lockvillagers, none of all those “ehh slight V lean ehh rand scum” type of shit that just clogs the thread and leaves wolves more breathing room to fake shitty read lists instead of being pushed to post Actual Content. of course, this is made easier cause it’s literally an 8p game. so i think if everyone can manage to do this, and do it well, we’ve got a great shot at winning this. we need to play today by using this to set up for D2, not fluffpost til the cows come home, and actually give a shit about this damn game

I thought the attitude in the first post vs her attitude regarding the following two posts didn’t add up, if that makes sense.

At a glance the questions are fine (they are) but I don’t actually see her trying to do anything with any of the questions she asked; which is why I was kind of eager to see what she’d bring to the table when she said she wanted to talk to me… but, yeah, that isn’t happening now.

It’s fully possible this is just a “she didn’t have the time to do so” which is why I didn’t say anything until now, I was hoping that whatever she asked me and how she did it would make it clear whether or not she cared or not

I feel like a lot of YBWs last few posts just turn into “I want to kill the lowposters” if you read them in macro

Which gives me mixed feelings because I think the highposters are all villagers but also fundamentally hate shrugyeeting the lowposters

Nightingale is probably just a villager and I think the only plausible exception is Night/YBW which still feels unrealistic enough for me to hard veto ever killing them today

Same applies to Marl, to a slightly lesser extent; if they’re a wolf their teammate is probably a lowposter? I find it hard to tell myself that a wolf perfectly knew what I wanted to hear here and think their reaction to waking up to seeing them as my top townread here felt pretty genuine as well – also hardvetoing this today

I think I’m willing to lose if either of those two are a wolf at this point because of the nature of how this game is going; I find it hard to care with multiple nigh unreadable players

Gortas posts in the past 30~ minutes make me want to not vote them today but instead rip my hair out because there’s no excuse to not have read this game in ~36 hours imo
