Thatâs just it. It isnât flawed. Youâre just trying to breed mistrust between Io and me. If you think Io is scum, what makes you so sure that Iâm town? From your perspective, I could easily be Ioâs scumbuddy, and yet youâre townreading me and trying to talk me into thinking Io could be scum. The reason why is that in a world where I remain convinced that Io is town, wolves never win.
In a scum!Io world, continuing to townread me doesnât help the wolves one bit and if youâre a wolf, you take any chance you can get to misyeet a villager and yesterday, scumreading me would get that perfect chance.
I actually donât think they are scum at the moment, but itâs far from a townread.
I havenât said I think as much at the moment.
Itâs a possibility, but I think itâs less likely than others. Iâm not sure what logical basis I had for that, but I think you wouldnât have had some interactions that you had.
⌠are you just saying, you canât explain to me why this would be optimal?
I hardly ever ignore posts. I have been quite to the point with quoting whoever I talk about/with and usually I respond to all posts/points. You just donât want to engage with this particular one, it seems.
I already have multiple times. Iâm just tired of doing so and being ignored when I do so. This is the final time that I do so.
In a scum!Io world, scumreading me is the perfect play to make because Iâd be an easy misyeet D4 when Gorta flips town D3 and he wouldnât even look scummy for doing so. Wolves never pass up the chance to misyeet a scummy looking villager. Why is that so hard for you to understand?
Well thatâs different from your original point as you said it was about switching lynch to you on day 3. This on day 4 I can understand more, but the flaw is that it works for every player that would be townreading you now.
This is also not true, because lynching scummy looking villagers makes you look like scum. Itâs in some cases better to have others push LHF, so you can look ârightâ and âpushing the right playersâ also known as âlook townâ. Itâs not like the game is over after youâd be lynched. Itâs also something they couldnât easily pull off progression wise, after they digged in their heels super hard on me/Sulit being scum. It would look especially unnatural if they were âproven rightâ on Gorta flipping town. They would have no reason to swap their mindset from it being me/Sulit to suddenly you. It would look very opportunistic.
(Like really these general rules like all scum push LHF never hold up)
Lynching scummy looking villagers doesnât make you look like scum. Thatâs literally the stupidest thing I ever heard in an FM game. Lynching scummy looking villagers when youâre already being townread makes you look like a villager that thought the scummy looking villager was scum. Also, by your logic, it was the perfect time to switch from pushing a villager into pushing on a scummier looking villager.
