Italy might be the sacrificial lamb here. I really would expect scum to be hopping to Italy’s defense, especially given that a mislynch here would bring town to LyLo, but the absolute lack of resistance plus the fact that Italy’s basically openwolfed by refusing to help town or defend himself signals that Italy and the other scum are both okay with Italy dying here.

That’s why I said “basically” openwolfed; Italy plays the opening of a game similarly as town or scum, but town!Italy by now would have actually given a damn and tried to help. He’s not doing that and he’s not giving any sort of defense.
