You flipping town wouldn’t indicate much on that slot. The reverse would indicate more; you flipping town would have most people on here giving that slot towncred, but I personally wouldn’t.

Especially elaborate on the Italy read because I’ve got NOTHING for Italy.

Most of Italy’s posts (at least the ones I read) are memes/fluff/jokes. There is some slight contribution here and there though and I do town gutread him.
This insistence from Chloe on being town takes apparent precedent over any other sort of read. This might simply be because she’s new, but was no one pressing her for reads during this time?
Here’s the OMGUS moment that I saw someone mentioning earlier (forget who, but that’s not important). This wasn’t where the Kai lynch started, but I suspect it was the reason that people started pushing on Kai, and it doesn’t seem terribly solid upon review.
That line before voting Mist… “The first time in forever” doesn’t make sense being added here. Chloe had previously stated that this was her first forum game, there’s no compelling reason for her to have added this in as a reminder. It sticks out to me in a weird way.
On to Sulit now…
Nine posts from Sulit in, we find the first attempt at a read (the only thing before this was asking for Ici’s reads, and Ici was dead at this point).
Still not entirely sure how Chloe’s insistence that she was town and that alone made her locktown, and Sulit doubles down on this. Still hasn’t given solid reads at this point outside of “Priestess and Merc likely town, Jake likely scum” (and we know that Jake ended up flipping town after this).
These three feel like Sulit trying to throw shade at Luxy (who again, was a townflip).
Never continues this process of isoing people. Damn shame, we could have gotten more info out of that.
On to Htm now…
I might be tinfoiling on this, but it feels like a scumslip with Htm genuinely amazed that their slot was considered townlock by people.
Okay, this… This was a D1 post from Hippo. I get that Htm probably saw this soon after starting the thread, and it was new to them, but they had to realize how outdated this was.
I’m not a fan of the insistence upon your laziness and not wanting to read the whole thread. If you had said it only once, it might have felt more genuine, but just like with Chloe repeating “I’m town” as a mantra, this starts to feel like you’re trying to sell the story.
I like the effort to give reads, and bonus points for looking at 3/4 of the previously established PoE (but you missed Hippo). But slight reads and gutreads aren’t terribly helpful. This is the start of townie behavior, but it needs to continue. Plus again mentioning the laziness.
This seems good on its own, but coupled with that earlier mantra of “I really don’t want to read the whole thread because laziness”, it starts to feel like a justification for not placing your vote. Votes are alignment indicative, not placing the vote comes off as being afraid of placing the vote wrong and trying to keep up the appearance.
Okay, this sounds townie. I like it better. It’s not enough to cancel out the scummy things before it, mind you, but this opens up the possibility that the slot might be a townread.
This… this one stuck with me for some reason when I first saw it, and now I think I know why. I might be missing something in the ISO, but the first post says that Hippo would need to be a townread to HTM in order for Poss to be a townread. Then, four posts later, HTM operates under the hypothetical that themselves and Possessed are both town, and shrinks the PoE accordingly… but still leaves Hippo as a nullread, when assuming that Possessed is town by HTM’s own logic would logically paint Hippo as town as well. This could be an oversight or a deliberate act to leave Hippo in the PoE for a later push on the grounds of solving Possessed’s slot, but it feels off to me in either case.
I don’t mind admitting error; this read was made without my awareness of the fact that you had your vote on Poss. I had seen your hypothetical where you and Possessed were both town (above) and mistook that for you having retracted your accusation. And I’m also liking an actual update on your progress catching up, at least more than I like “haven’t read it all yet, feeling lazy”.
This… I actually like this as a question to find scum. It works well against the tunneling scum who are insistent that a particular person be killed, because they’ve often built their whole narrative around that one person necessarily being scum.
Conculsion; Light scumread on HTM overall, I do think that we have better targets but this recent behavior is doing better. I look forward to seeing more townie behavior as you work your way through the thread.

I was more surprised that I could be lock-town in a mountainous game. It’s basically impossible to lock someone as town in a mountainous. That’s why I was surprised.
Yes I know they could have been outdated. That’s why I asked for new reads if these were outdated
I hate self-meta but: I’m always like this in every game. Just go into one of my random games town or not and you will see 99% of the time I will be saying this.
Yeah I know gutreads aren’t helpful but it would take forever to read all the posts, so that’s why I posted it.

Oh you have a good point. It completely crossed my mind. I would remove Hippo from the PoE if Poss was town.
