I intentionally wrote a scummy opener to make mafia tempted to mislynch me, nothing after that was in any way intentionally scummy though

That’s the thing though. As long as you seem pro-town you are going to be read as town and that’s good for both alignments. So you should never try to be anti-town because that doesn’t help as either alignment.

This is the simplest way I can put it.

No. As I said in my Scumchat for SFoL 00, I intend on improving as both factions.

It’s not very helpful when people get scared over a Pro-Town jake.

You should be pro town or seem pro town as all alignments unless your goal is to get yourself executed and there is currently no class on this site that has that as a wincon.

I ll just say do whatever you think you have to do as scum, but stop bothering about how you will be seen when you are town.

‘Meta’ has nothing to do with it. Being pro-town is the basis of Mafia as a whole and there is no excuse for trying to be anti-town unless getting yourself lynched actually benefits you. There are some fringe instances when getting yourself lynched is beneficial, but day 1 in mountainous (a setup with no power roles on either side) is not one of them as either alignment.
