To make it look like he’s doing something. That’s actually more wolfy as it’s more performative as a villager would spend their time actually casing someone who isn’t guaranteed to die.

Andrej wasn’t doing much anyway. He was effectively not even in the game. It’s easy to think he was disinterested Mafia. He turned out to be town.
Plus, by casing a dying villa you’re not really going to be suspected as you won’t have a role in their death, so yeah.
