LOADS all of his posts strongly insinuated he was town, and a once or twice is just normal but I feel like he did it too often and it was too purposeful. He immedaitely wants everyone to go “Hey Marshall is clearly town, the subtext of ALL of his posts says he is”. And it clearly worked cuz a bunch of people townread him.
But townies don’t talk about themselves that much and aren’t so preoccupied with making all their posts ooze in the insinuation that they’re town.
He also assumed Alice is town - which is totally fine tbh and not scummy, what I find worst is that he imediately said:
Looks too selfaware. If he had just left it I wouldn’t have found it scummy but assuming someone is town and then a post later saying “unless they’re not xD” is just weird.
Obvs there’s loads of joking at start of game but Marshall’s SoD did not seem natural.
