Mistyx was executed. She was:

The Tavernkeeper

You have no abilities except your voice and your vote. Put them to good use!
You win when all of the Cult are dead.

Night 2 begins and will end in 12 hours, at 2020-10-19T14:00:00Z.

“Can I get you anything?” said the young tavernkeeper, turning to the group of five people who had just walked up to her booth in the marketplace.

GGhana leaned his forearm on the counter in front of her booth. “You’ve heard the news, haven’t you, miss?”

“About the Prince?” said the tavernkeeper. “The whole kingdom’s heard by now. Did you want anything?”

GGhana frowned. “What I want is for you to help find the cultists,” he said. “Why aren’t you doing that?”

The tavernkeeper sideeyed him. “Some of us have livings to make,” she said. “People still want mead, even in times like this.”

“How can you think about money at a time like this?” asked Illwei. “Our Prince is dead, and yet you’re still thinking of Earthly prosperity? I don’t believe you. I think you’re a Cultist trying to explain away the fact that you don’t actually care about the people here.”

“No, I just don’t want to starve,” said the tavernkeeper. “Just because you’re all royalty with the luxury to spend your time playing sleuth, doesn’t mean all of us are.”

“Whatever,” said GGhana. “Let’s just throw her in the harbor. Seize her!”

The five of them took ahold of the struggling tavernkeeper and dragged her to the bridge, before shoving her over. Once they had seen her sink below the water, they went to find the Inquisitors.

“We caught a heretic!” said one of them.

“Is that so?” said Inquisitor Arete. “Which one?”

“Her name was Mistyx,” said another member of the mob.

“Mistyx?” said Inquisitor Marshal. “What makes you think she’s a heretic?”

“Well, uh,” said a third member of the mob. “I guess I can’t really point to anything…”

“I have an idea!” said the castle’s grizzled wizard’s young apprentice, looking at the wizard. They opened a spellbook to a page in the middle, where they had laid a ribbon to mark their spot. “Look, I found a spell that will alert us if anyone is attacked. We can cast it, and then if the Cult tries to sacrifice anyone we’ll be able to catch them.”

“Brilliant!” said the wizard, smiling. “Let’s set up our crystal ball straight away. Do you remember the mental exercises I’ve been having you practice? It’s important to keep a clear mind.”

“Of course!” said the apprentice. Together, they and the wizard set up the crystal ball at the top of their tower, and cast their spell. The crystal ball resolved into a hazy image of a corridor in the castle.

The two of them waited, watching for anything unusual to happen. Occasionally, the vision they saw in the crystal ball seemed to flicker for a moment, but never for longer. As the hours passed and the night grew later, the apprentice began to struggle to keep their eyes open. Still, they forced themself to keep staring at the ball, digging their nails into their hand to try to keep themself awake. They couldn’t afford to miss the opportunity to catch one of the other residents of Adiart being killed.

At last, the sun began to rise over Adiart. The apprentice exchanged a glance with the wizard. The Cult of Ignis had remained dormant for another night – but what price would they pay, later, for their two peaceful nights?

Day 3 has begun and will end in 36 hours, at 2020-10-21T03:00:00Z. With 13 players alive, majority is 7.

(Today’s EoD will be an hour after the usual time to make up for lost time. The night phase, however, will be 11 hours long and SoD and EoD times should be reset for D4. Apologies.)

Why is no one here

Reeeee

The severe drop in activity is depressing. I just ask that the town members who still want to see this through work together on figuring out scum before it is too late.

My towncore: Ben, GGhana, Leafia, Slinky

I suspect that at least 2 of the 3 wolves were online at EoD while all the vote moving was happening. The 3rd wolf may just have their vote parked on one of the possible wagons they have in mind.

For the 2 online wolves, they are likely within Sulit, ATNoName, Illwei, and Derps. The 3rd is possibly in there as well. If the 3rd wolf is missing from EoD, they are likely either Demo on GGhana or Shrek on me.

Sulit was scum reading Misty pretty much from D1 and still through D2. Her top scum reads have been Misty and GGhana.

Towards D2 EoD, she was complaining in a sarcastic way that the wagons were all spread out.

Then suddenly when it is getting closer to the actual yeet happening, she feigns worry about the Mist wagon forming too quickly.

Huh? It’s EoD, so of course final wagons are forming. TMI? It’s like she knows Mist will flip town and now wants to express doubts. The other wagon was GGhana, who she also scum read. Her top 2 scum reads are the top 2 wagons and she now says it is bad that wagons are picking up? What??? Then she drops even voting for either wagon. That is definitely not town behavior.

Derps I’m not as certain about. I know his actions are anti-town. His attempted and successful CFDs to town members are hurting us. He’s appealing to emotional and subjective feelings at critical moments to sway opinions instead of looking at actual reads and facts. However, I don’t know if he is scum or just town making idiotic moves.

Lol

Whysper is like straight open wolfing at this point

What happened yesterday? I missed it. I guess my scum read on misty was wrong too. Sorry guys

Hardly. Just analyzing behavior and seeing scum show it.

Yeah, unfortunately Misty was questionable. But I also thought she was more likely scum than you.

I don’t wanna be stuck here with wolves

Sulit pls

I’m not around EoD2 and a super obvious villager is executed instead of the super obvious wolf. Typical. Ghana IS NOT A VILLAGER! HE’S A WOLF! Also, I told you Misty was town. It was super obvious.

/vote Ghana @Arete
He will be today’s yeet or I’m a Vaporeon. He will not survive another day. I’ll make sure of that. Either he gets yeeted or I do.
