[VFM] Town vs Bandits - Day 5 (4/13) - Bandits Win!

firstly, rich coming from you

secondly, if people stopped fucking POSTING CRINGE in thread and practically begging me to call them out on it then maybe I’d stop

no ragrets

the better companion to bad townplay and this hell site is hypocrisy and this hellsite

this makes no sense - you don’t need to perfectly understand the motivation of someone to make observations about their behavior. i saw several things throughout d1 that made me think will might not be as new as he’s letting on, and i didn’t need a “motive” for him to pretend to be new to pick up on those things. that’s not how …logic works?

and this entire “you should bring your concern up to the hosts” conversation should just not exist in this thread period, but i’ll leave it at that

yeah the main objection to me was Arctic assuming that Will is an alt because he used advanced lingo

which like, is just not a good reason because people assumed I was an alt in my first game for exactly that reason

I actually think the more I think about it that I’d Will is new he’s actually more wolfy because I think that he’s acting very similarly to how I did in my first game (where I was a wolf)

I think if he’s not a new player he’s likely to be just phoning it in

can you talk about emilia more? in what way is she improving? do you think she’s towntold?

problem is my point got lost because arctic was being cringe and I had to school him because I have no life

as someone who’s played with v Emilia a lot

every time I’ve villaged with Emilia, me and arctic get into a fight (gee I wonder why) and Emilia eggs one party on

I’m pretty sure I’ve literally never seen her do something like that as a wolf

Just stop talking about alt speculation.

This conversation is causing the threadstate to come to a grinding halt.

hey she asked a question

I can piss all over thread again

To build on GGhana, yeah.

She tends to be fairly agreeable and stay out of conflicts as a wolf while also having a more dry tone.

Getting into the Arctic/GGhana argument while making shitposts is very V-AI of her. I had her as a wolflean earlier on because she fell flat d1 as he tone was horrible being that she wasn’t as joke-y and a lot of her posts were just 1-word responses.

Now I think she’s a lot better. That and she also has a volume tell where she begins to slowly fall off as the game goes, which I’m not seeing it here.

I don’t exactly like meta, but Emilia kinda has a major tonal difference when she wolfs, so eh.

I feel like I will be cursed with this meta forever.

It’s less meta and that maintaining your wolfrange isn’t really that wide, tbfh.

You still need to work on your tone as a wolf and you tend to still have drastic drop-offs.

i feel like you’re extrapolating a lot here tbh - it’s possible that the wolves killed chloe as part of a PR hunt, but they also could have just killed her because she was a widely townread slot that was about to be replaced with another strong player with a fresh set of eyes (katze). playing today with the assumption that the wolves sheeped your specific PR read is a bit dangerous, imo

Eh, not giving much value to that PR read theory, tbfh.

I don’t think GGhana is likely to be wolfing here regardless and I’m still kinda sorting through you/Proph/WWA/Eli and Emilia/Will to a lesser extent.

i dislike this post because i feel like windwardaway is going to painstaking lengths to justify her own actions and frame them in a positive way without actually doing the work of …hunting/solving? the way that she talks to alice here does not feel like she is genuinely curious about whether or not alice’s alignment is coming from a place of good faith, and her justification for her vote on vulgard feels almost apologetic, as though she feels obligated to explain herself so that she looks “better”

i suppose it would be accurate to say that this post feels overly concerned with self-image

the perspective that GGhana has in this post (ie: “i am being treated like a village idiot”) recontextualizes a lot of the posts that they’ve made so far today in a pretty villagery. i find that it’s pretty typical for villagers to get fixated on “unfair” treatment, especially if they feel that the treatment extends to themselves, and the way that GG came into today almost like he had something to prove feels consistent with the mindset that he is not being treated in the right way. not impossible for a wolf to have this POV, but it comes from villagers more often than not

i think i explained that in an overly convoluted way, oops

windwardaway responds with “No U” in response to an accusation…ruh-roh…
