the read doesn’t resonate with me because, by all accounts, alice did "go in for the kill’ by voting chloe within the first few posts of the game starting. there is some abstract meta-based expectation of what a “town alice” push on chloe would look like, and the read is impossible for me to put much stock in when i don’t have that level of meta on alice

Alice’s push on Chloe to me get like there wasn’t actually much bite

It was just her pointing at Chloe and going “look at this”

It wasn’t like she was actually trying

So I pushed her more on it, I think her weird chainsaw on me to be wolfy, and her reasons for reading Chloe to be very unsatisfying, because I disagreed on why it was wolfy, so to me I think that’s also wolfy

Like it’s an overly formal townread this stage of the game and the nuclear launch codes is phrased in such as way that seems to be pre-planned.

I don’t think I’ve seen anything that AI from Leafia so far as well.

I’ve used the ‘nuclear launch codes’ analogy to refer to Leafia’s scumgame (in Ciconia) before and I stand by it being a valid way to read her

It’s not my fault she’s the easiest player to read in this game

Adding this after seeing your recent posts: I’ve never seen another person use the nuclear launch codes phrase to refer to leafia and i’m not sure where you’re getting that lol

I think Arctic and Leafia are both villagers here. I also townread that take from Leafia, but I didn’t know how to articulate it. Arctic noticing that as well, cross-referencing it with a past game, and expressing the take in a way that sounds TMI-less makes me feel confident he’s town. I also think his take has merit, so Leafia should probably be town as well.

I know SPF busses. That’s a known fact. However, I don’t think SPF would bus here, like this (I know this barely even counts as bussing as W/W, but bear with me).

What do I mean by “like this?” I mean that she’s clearing a villager in the process, when she doesn’t have to do this as a wolf. She could wolfread Chloe without calling someone V off Chloe’s potential red flip right away.

I don’t believe in this very strongly, but it is a thought.

If we’re talking about unusual behavior, the fact that you’re so incredibly ‘tunneled’ on me to the point where you’re already making preflip associations (when you are someone who tends to be against preflips) is extremely out of place and honestly quite wolfy

There’s extreme confidence then there’s an artificial tunnel, and this feels like the latter

i actually did get pinged by chloe’s opening posts as well, and that’s because her townread on leafia felt like a reiteration of the townread on leafia that artic had outed a few posts above her. i am doubtful that chloe would have outed her townread on leafia if artic hadn’t outed his own townread on her, and that made me feel like chloe was focusing on blending in with the momentum of the thread instead of trying to build her own conclusions
