I don’t see how you can read any of this and come to the conclusion that my stance on Vulgard is a “nothingburger”. My read on him at the time was that I thought he was likely a wolf because I didn’t believe that he believed what he was saying ITT, but there was just enough weirdness about him that made me think that his play was odd from either alignment.
Mmm, okay. Yeah I had a similar thought last night (that he wouldn’t have the testicular fortitude to go after me immediately as a wolf) but right now I’m kinda paranoid that he kinda… decided I was a wolf pregame and is fitting the narrative to match that as opposed to the other way around. I’ll get to this more when I respond to his case on me, but I seriously don’t understand why he is reading me as w from my one RVS post.

Yes, this actually makes a whole lot of sense and I’ll probably take a closer look at Marl’s newer posts when I get the time
I can imagine him trying to appease/attempt to pocket me in Ciconia because he has some experience with me. I don’t know if spf/Marl have played a lot together but I can sorta see him pushing back with someone he doesn’t know as well. Though I’d like to hear if spf/Marl have played in games together since it would give some more context to this read of mine.

how the heck am i supposed to know if they’re villagers or not? i said i’m not going to discount the possibility they’re both town, and that i’d want them both alive as town.
the issue i have with it is that you’re saying they’re likely v/w, not saying which one is more likely to be the wolf or villager and then topping it off with a backtrack into the v/v world so i’m wondering what the point of this post was

As far as I can tell almost all of Proph’s arguments against me are basically just repeating things he’s heard me said while avoiding the big picture of what I’m actually arguing for, most likely because it’s a lot easier to discredit me if he did that rather than actually tackling why he thinks I’m a wolf because its a lot harder to actually discredit my entire case than to just take one paragraph I posted a day ago and pretend that’s my entire case and argue against that.
And also his reason for shading me is patently ridiculous and literally makes no sense at all

I literally said in that post that Vulgard was townier
the only reason I put a caveat that they could be v/v is because I know I’ve pretty consistently misread both of them, but I don’t think their cases on each other looked partnered from that bit of the thread. I’ll read them more in-depth as individual slots but I think Proph might be wolfing, I just don’t want to confbias myself on his slot like I did in ciconia without considering that I could still be wrong.
