I tried talking to her earlier so I could milk anything from her brain but she refused to provide even the slightest bit of insight, which leads me to believe she’s unable to create content
I’m not an Emilia expert but it’s about what I’d expect from her as a wolf in this game (and especially this playerlist) - contributing nothing of value and feeling like a deflated balloon
I said I’d give her the Day to step it up because maybe she could just be off her game, and I didn’t vote there because I feel like she’s the type of person who might just shut down if pressured, regardless of alignment
I had a somewhat level-0 take on her in that as a wolf she wouldn’t say “I am trying!” in response to people saying she’s doing nothing, and would instead cave, but I have no basis for that read other than gut
Wolf Eli doesn’t randomly wallpost chloe’s iso for no reason unless told to and the only person who would tell him to wallpost chloe is chloe herself for antispew reasons if he dies
Windy’s wall felt extremely full of generic reads for a post that’s around 700 posts in, not sure why she hasn’t really gotten more heat over it other than Arctic, tbfh.
She doesn’t really bother to give concrete reasons why she believes Vul/Proph are V/W, there’s an excessive reliance on meta on literally everything, her read on Chloe looks extremely safe-y and hedges a lot, her comment on GGhana’s fairly generic and doesn’t really make any odds or ends on what is their alignment, Arctic’s point is another generic/over-reliant on meta mess, and she doesn’t make any call on Marl’s alignment. Plus all of these reads feel like she’s being fairly safe and following thread consensus as well.
Plus, the way that she talks so much about literally everyone feels like it’s a wolf that’s trying to overcompensate not starting early with sheer volume, tho.
i just skimmed through vulgard’s ISO, and i honestly dont find him that wolfy? some of his posts are questionably ambiguous, but if i take meta out of the picture, his posts are just fine
it feels to me like vulgard is “stuck” and struggling to get his head in the game, and regardless of his alignment, i think that is in large part to the fact that he’s been scrutinized and heavily pressured from the moment the game started. the reason vulgard is playing “below” whatever meta standards we have for him is likely because the pressure is making it difficult for him to play, and i can see that happening to him as a wolf or a villager
but if i do bring meta into the picture, i see an immediate difference between the way vulgard opened this game vs how he opened as a wolf in our syndicate game (The Syndicate - Search). vulgard’s posts felt like he was speaking directly to an audience, whereas his posts in this game feel more internally driven and less focused on how people are going to perceive them
there are enough villagery people in this game that i think vulgard could still reasonably be a wolf, but i’m arriving at the camp of: “the behavioral stuff that people are wolfreading vulgard for is non-alignment indicative behavior”, and i’m not really comfortable chopping him today on the basis that his alignment will become a lot more obvious in another dayphase or two
My confidence in GGhana being a villager is increasing a lot the more he butts heads with Proph even though it’s annoying to see it in every other post
The amount of conviction behind everything he says towards or about the guy is bullheaded in a way that reminds me a LOT of his towngame and this is the type of behavior that I pretty much locked him V for in Anni
Even though he’s taking a different approach to this game I don’t think he’s capable of replicating this emotion to this extent and for this long
Not only that I don’t feel any level of anxiety or discomfort from him in the slightest, and he’s more than willing to chokehold the thread and force people to listen to him

Currently I have them in my probably V list but I’m not that confident on them since I’ve been on a hiatus on this site for a while and they don’t seem to be as polarized as Leafia/Arctic.
Wind also hasn’t towntold yet from what I’ve seen in my catchup
The posts I’ve seen so far from her are not only barebones but they lack any of the confidence, paranoia, emotion, anything I’m used to from her
I can usually read her pretty well past a certain point
And I admittedly scumread her opener in ~every game
But this is not normal from her towngame imho
It’s much more wordy and looks like she’s posting to look productive and none of her posts have any of the nuance or selfish takes I’m used to seeing
As of post 790 I’m fairly confident in Eli being a villager - he’s sitting outside my towncore (which atm is Arctic/Leafia/GGhana) because of a little recency bias
He hasn’t broken his meta (except in a BotF game? I think? But I don’t count that tbh. It’s not mafia). and I don’t think this is the game he does that
I feel like he’d be much more anxious, awkward, and terrified in this sort of playerlist, and while his reads are pretty level-0 it’s p much what i’m used to from him

I’d usually read him off of postcount as well I don’t think postcount is as good of a metric this game since there’s a cap and FoLers don’t know how to deal with them
I also think the fact that he’s given unique takes of his own volition, no matter the strength of said take, is a good look

I don’t really know how to read Emilia but if I had a gun to my head I’d say she flips wolf
Tho I plan on giving her more time and I wouldn’t go there today because I do think she’s much much easier to read as the game progresses tbh. Should be an easy slot to solve come ~Day 3
Actually I just re-read her and from her recent posts I think she could be wolfing.
Her posts have been dropping as her tone from the beginning was okay but as time goes on her tone feels progressively dryer and flatter while she kind of has started to struggle with interacting with the content.
Like, a lot of her recent posts have just been 1-word responses while her comment on Marl’s alignment felt fairly spongy and more like something that she felt pressure to comment on rather than a real thought.
