yes kinda, he claims to have done the same thing in anni
but just like in anni, i dont think his read was really fake, he just is playing it off like it was fake because he got too much pushback and didn’t want to look dumb
there is a very very fine line between not wanting to look dumb and not wanting to look like you have TMI though

i haven’t been wrong on a read on her since umineko 1 and even then i suspected something was off (but by then it was too late)
not to mention we walked right into a fake red check from a telepathy cop
