I mean all of you keep saying this, but that’s not the use it got on any other site I’ve ever played on. What is the point of saying the same thing 2 other people said. Wat
isn’t the point of making a PoE to have a PoE
you’re probably going to orbital strike the nuclear/whysper slots after today anyways so it doensnt really matter gamestate-wise
if i were to towncase my d3 it would be that i have no desperation whatsoever but also not flat-out dejection or devolvement into blatant antispew
Nuclear feels vaguely desperate here
how many sites have you played on
The point is to make it so that wolves cannot really escape and have to try and get rid of each other subtly to get credit. Idk.
Like GGhana’s perspective is kinda valid despite the fact that PoE is literally just our own deductions of ‘what contains the wolves’ lol.
i don’t think anyone feels desperate really so this isn’t a valid argument unless you think wolves are in the towncore, which you’ve made it quite obvious you don’t believe
its ok, i tunnelled you too so i also owe an apology
Are you being dense on purpose? Or?
If the POE includes no mafia because the people creating them is wrong, all you do is force the game into a spot where the town inside of this lists are forced to kill one another, instead of giving their thoughts on people who they think are mafia outside of the POE. You waste genuine thoughts and reads by forcing these tdome between players you have no information on.
on that note
we r in towncoe
too many
okay
how likely is this
don’t factor in the chance reduction that reads throw into the mix
problem is we don’t know there’s no mafia in it until we Lynch a bunch of town and lose
I’ve played over 300 long form forum mafia games, and off the top of my head I can think of several times I lost due to wasting time not pressuring a wolf outside of the perceived POE. So it must not be too uncommon.
nuclear does to me
/shrug
See that’s the problem though. My entire point is, when you “Decide” on a POE on d3, you’re pretty much locking yourself into “well we will never know the POE is wrong until we lose the game”
seems like an interesting play
lol
i think you’ve got this backwards
you seem to think that we think the people in the poe are wolves because they are in the poe
but the reason they’re in the poe is because we think they’re wolves
There’s sure to be a few games in the 300 you’ve played where not all wolves were in PoE, but this isn’t a reason to forego a PoE entirely
local man destroys the concept of a PoE because “what if everyone in it is a villager”
ok Sharon, thats the whole point of scumreads. You don’t know for sure if they’re a wolf but you think they are
mafia at its core is a game of probabilities
